Simple Grilled Chicken Breast
This grilled chicken recipe is simple, juicy, and perfect for a high-protein meal or as a component in salads, bowls, or sandwiches.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
Instructions
-
In a small bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, thyme, rosemary, and onion powder. Whisk until well blended.
-
Place the chicken breasts in a large resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the chicken. Seal the bag and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
-
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C). If using a grill pan, heat it over medium-high heat and lightly oil the surface to prevent sticking.
-
Place the marinated chicken breasts on the preheated grill. Cook for about 6–7 minutes per side, or until grill marks form and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
-
Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes.
-
Slice each breast into thin, even slices and serve.
This recipe looks delicious. I’m going to try it tonight.
