Plain Banana Bread Recipe

by Noor 1 Comment

The recipe I’m about to share today has been my family’s favorite. The banana bread is nice and moist with crispy edges and doesn’t require a lot of ingredients. That’s why I call this the “Plain Banana Bread” recipe.

How to Make Plain Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 medium bananas (7-8 inches long), mashed
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Directions

Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celcius). Take two 7×3 inch loaf pans. Grease and flour these pans.

Take a large bowl and whisk together flour, sugar, salt and soda. Slowly mix in eggs, bananas and butter.

Pour this mixture into the two pans.

Place in oven and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celcius) for an hour (You can insert a wooden toothpick in the center to see if it comes out clean).
