This recipe will help you make the perfect country bbq chicken legs with very little expertise.

How to Make Country BBQ Chicken Legs

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken legs with thighs
  • 1/4 cup white Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • Barbecue Sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp prepared mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin

Directions

Step 1

Place chicken in a large saucepan.

Step 2

Add enough water to cover.

Step 3

Bring to a boil over medium high heat.

Step 4

Reduce heat.

Step 5

Simmer, covered, for 20 minutes.

Step 6

Drain.

Step 7

Place in a shallow dish.

Step 8

Meanwhile, prepare sauce.

Step 9

Mix honey, mayonnaise, and mustard in a bowl.

Step 10

Blend well.

Step 11

Add garlic, chili powder, onion powder and cumin.

Step 12

Mix well and set aside.

Step 13

Reserve 1/4 cup barbecue sauce.

Step 14

Preheat grill or broiler.

Step 15

Brush chicken with Worcestershire sauce.

Step 16

Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Step 17

Place chicken on grill or broiler pan.

Step 18

Brush with barbecue sauce.

Step 19

Grill or broil chicken, turning frequently, for 20 minutes.

Step 20

Brush chicken with reserved barbecue sauce just before removing from the grill.

Serve and enjoy!
